Otaku Monthly goods #2

Image
This time I ordered a lot of clear files! I couldn't resist because JunJou Romantica is one of my first yaoi and Ojamajou Doremi is probably one of the first manga I know ! Plus it's super useful! (I was in grade 5 when I was watching Ojamajou Doremi and I'm know on my second year in Uni lol) I also bought two omamori, Haruka = Victory & Rin = Wish fulfillement.  Tbh, I just want to pair them up, lol. If I'm not wrong Makoto was like luck in studies smth like that but then .. Victory and wish fulfillement are close, right?... hehehe (there's only.. smth like a sheet of plastic inside.. lol) And I also got a Gudetama.. but I'm gonna sell that.  That's all for this month! :D  Well, I also got a The Scorch Trials tee shirt but it's something I won ->  It's a tee with the second movie/book picture from The Maze Runner series by James Dashner! It's a great series so give it a try! Ah, but The Ki

EOS Dolly Eyes in Brown color - REVIEW (Circle Lenses)

Image
I bought those lenses for Shiro (No game no life cosplay) , because she kinda has golden eyes so I wanted something yellowish but not too yellow so it would turn strange. The Dolly Eyes (EOS) collection is very opaque, the color is quite vibrant. The diameter is 15mm. Make sure you know that before you buy it. It's very suitable for cosplay but not much for a daily life use! The difference between with/without lens. Even if it says the diameter is 15mm, I can hadly believe it, the size is not far from a normal eye. Overall: 4,5/5 I don't know why but I don't find EOS CL very comfortable. I tried them outside of cosplay, despite being on the right side, the lenses keep moving. And like all EOS lenses, I don't know why but when you're wearing it the first time, you'll keep seeing the color of your lenses.. which is super annoying and uncomfortable. So you better wear them few time and try to adjust your eyes to them before puttin

Otaku monthly goods #1

Image
I've been ordering quite a lot amount of goods from Japan. In Europe we barely have official goods, artbooks etc. So every time I see something good or rare, I wouldn't be able to resist! I rarely show what I bought but I thought I should. lol Freshly received today from amiami ! A 刀剣乱舞 Tarou Tachi kanzashi/pen and Rui Ninomiya's miniature car. I thought that they would use a real pen and just stuff the decoration on as a cap but they actually only used a ink cartridge so it's super fine so the size is almost like a real kanzashi !!  I was tempted to also buy the version of Jirou Tachi but.. it's quite expensive (~1500 yen) so I only chose one.  The car is so well painted, even better than the one on the photo!  I bought it because I'm planning to cosplay this version of Rui and thought I would maybe use the car as a prop or something.  That's all for my 'Otaku monthly goods #1' but I'm receiving more next m

Fruity Summer

How are you spending your holidays? Most of the time the weather is too hot for me to handdle so I just hide myself at home. I went out with my friend to see "Le Petit Prince" and dressed up because it's such a shame that I have a lot of cute clothes and accessories at home and I'm not using them. Tank top: Uniqlo Cardigan: H&M Skirt: Spinns/RE+ Socks: Claire's Shoes: Converse All Star Bag & accessories: Morgan, off brands, jp goods... I absolutely love my lemon hairties! I broke one of them though, haha. I also have banana hairclip! It's also broken, gotta repair that so I can show you guys next time! ;) Time sure flies! I have a lot of cosplay projects to do and it's already august! I'm really excited about one of them and I hope I'd totally rock it because it's a gorgeous outfit! But for now, I'm preparing my Hanafuriou series cos!

Weetabix chocolate cookies recipe

Image
I bought a box of weetabix and was wondering how I was going to eat that.... First I tried to eat it with oat milk but it's all soft and disguting.. then I tried to mix it with yoghurt, not bad but.. could be better... so I tried to find some recipes on the internet.. I found on Nigella's site a recipe for Weetabix chocolate brownies here  and changed it to my liking and turned them into cookies instead of brownies ! Here's my version of the recipe: Ingredients: 4 crushed weetabix 2 tablespoon of sugar 100g of self-raising flour 100g of dessert chocolate (52% of cocoa) 50g of melted half-salt butter + 2 tbsp of oil (you can use margarine or normal butter or whatever, same!) 1 medium egg N.B: I'm using 52% dark chocolate which is actually pretty sweet so I'm putting less sugar. But with 2 tablespoons of sugar, and it's already very sweet. I tried the recipe like this twice and I'm thinking of not putting sugar at all. N.B 2 : By cutting

Japan Expo 2015 - 16th Impact

Image
Last year due to my exams I only went to Japan Expo for 2 days, so this year I passed with flying colors and went on and bought a 4 days pass. Then later when the schedule came out, I was a bit ... disappointed but still, very eager to go and to put on my cosplays and meet my friends. When I went on thursday, it was hot as hell, around 35°c, but feeling like a 38°c, I was sweating a lot, and feeling all gross and stuff. It kinda already started not.. so well. With my friend, we left our cosplay or lolita outfit at home and went with some very casual outfit so we could stroll comfortably at Japan expo. To start, there's always a lot of people and this year is not an exception... I was very happy seeing my favorite Sailor Moon (Toei Animation) booth with even more products than last year. Unfortunately, some items were very very expensive. Last year, the compact powder were at 35€ and this year 50€. The gap is huge and I found it very disappointing... The pink leather

One short week accompanied with food

Image
We've been given a week of vacation before a upcoming week full of finals! Well, to be honnest, we already had half of our finals 2 weeks ago. To sum up my week of vacation, I would say I didn't had a lot of fun but I ate a lot. If you are following my instagram (@alicekamiya), I first had a tea at Angelina with a friend. I had an Opéra and a darjeeling tea.  I also tried the Sakura angel cake from Ciel. The petals are made from white chocolate btw. It tasted nothing like sakura but more like berries. Then by the end of the week, on saturday, I went out with my best friend to do a little shopping, and she brought me to the restaurant. Picked Opéra Guibine as usual for a korean meal. I usually take a bibimbap, but wanted to try potatoes vermicelli, it was very salty in my opinion. I regret no taking my cold bibimbap.  By the way, they also have a new side dish, which is made from tiny fish, I don't know what it is but it crept me out. Probab

[ETUDE HOUSE] - Bubble Kaki Brown (07) - Review

Image
Last december I dyed my hair dark brown but since then, the color was fading away and I had a dark blonde and black roots. I didn't wanted to keep a uneven color so I decided to dye it once again. I super love Etude House's bubble dye so I picked this Kaki Brown color, which I haven't tried yet.  To be honnest, I don't even know what color it's supposed to be. I guess it's a brown with kaki-ish/bonde-ish tone. This is what my hair looks like before. (Dark blond with black roots + cerise color tips) Time to dye it.  After le dye...   My hair color is darker, with some green-ish tone (and some blonde hair I failed to dye obviously) For the roots, it's kinda brown, not black but certainly not kaki brown . I asked my friends "Do you know that I dyed my hair?" and they said "No." Few more shampoos later, this is what my hair looks like: Overall: Those korean bubbl
