[too cool for school] - Hot Girl Lip Sticker - 02 Hawaiian Flower - Review

Image
Happy new year! I'm back for another review!  School has been keeping me busy and to be honest, I had no idea what to write about, that's why I haven't been very active. (Check my insta  @alicekamiya for more frequent posts!) I got my first hot pink lipstick from too cool for school . Mine is called 02 - Hawaiian Flower . It also available in 19 other colors! If you're into k-makeup, I think that you know that hot pink is a quite trendy color. I remember every time that Etude House would release a collection, they would make sure to suggest a bright pink color. Usually with Krystal as the model. I always thought it was pretty but ... quite daring? Well, at least for me! The color is pink enough but not too bright to be hard to wear. Explained in Pantone color chart, it's very similar to the color 17-2034 'Pink Yarrow'. lol As you can see it's a mini lipstick, almost like a sample size one, haha. It'...

In 21 years, I landed my feet on Asian land for the first time ever!  I went to Shantou, ZhaoAn, ShenZhen, Hong Kong and finally, Beijing. I originally planned to show you my trip through a vlog but due to the lack of footages, I'm just going to share with you guys the pictures I took. :) #1st stop: Shantou / 汕头  (inside of the Suning Mall) (Entrance hall of Golden Gulf Hotel) #2nd stop: ZhaoAn / 诏安 (Entrance of the temple) (small peek of the inside, the temple is giant, there is different 'small temple' that were specifically dedicated to some buddhas etc.) #3rd stop: Hong Kong / 香港 (Harbour City) (Central) #4th stop: Beijing / 北京

ETUDE HOUSE - Salon Cream Hair Coloring [Vanilla Gold Brown] - Review

Image
My journey to have light colored hair without bleaching ... Part that I've forgotten to post earlier. :( Since my roots were getting longer, I thought that it would be the timing to do another hair coloring. I did this coloration after weeks after I tried out Missha Sand Brown color . This time I picked ' Vanilla Gold Brown ' color from Etude House's cream dyes. This is how my hair looks like before the coloration . Black roots, a mix of blonde/remaining of red coloration (please don't mind my bare face) * * * After the coloration . My roots came out much lighter! There is still a bit of reddish brown but it's not really that visible. Overall : - Very good coverage - Long lasting             - The dye doesn't smell bad - Less easy to apply than a bubble dye (obviously) The color turned out quite prettily, even though it's more like a dark blonde than gold brown I gues...

China Beijing Tour for only $99 (or €99)? DEAL or SCAM? REVIEW

So this summer I went to China with my aunt & uncle for the first time ever. And our plan included a €99 Beijing Tour (8 days). It's a tour that's supposed to cost you only €99 (or $, depending on where you're at), which covers hotel fees, meals, entry fees for museum or whatever you'll be visiting. But, really? only €99? I'm just going to talk about the scams, as for the visits and stuff, I'm just going to skip it, but if you're interested, you can ask. TEA SHOP On the 1st day, we were brought to a tea shop, to have a small talk about tea and to try them. At the end, they presented us the teas we tried and were trying to sell them to us. The prices go from ~$25 to ~$60. I really liked it but.. I was like " even my Mariage Frères tea doesn't cost that much? " so I wasn't planning to buy anything. The salespersons start coming at us asking us if we were interested and we told them "no" but you know, they were real...

Palty - Awapack Hair Color in Cream Caramel - Review (on blonde hair)

Image
You can call this my umpteenth hair experience but it's my first time trying Palty bubble hair dye . I got tired of my very yellow blonde hair and I thought about dying it in a light brown color. The box contains: the coloring cream, the oxyde water and hair conditionner.  It also comes with a cup and some sort of spatula to mix the color. And of course, the instructions and a pair of gloves.   The usual, mix the cream and the oxyde water: then you're done! Unlike bubble hair dyes from Etude House, this one doesn't smell great. D: BEFORE This is what my hair looked it before I dyed it: very yellow blonde. AFTER Surprise! I even got blonder than before. I was laughing to much, I know that bubble dyes don't work well on light colored hair but I thought I'd get a darker shade of blonde but it surprisingly went lighter! I guess it's because there's a ash tone in it, so it toned my yellow col...

One day of December

Image
I haven't post my outfit for a while, have I? Actually I do post them but on my Instagram . My outfit for the day includes: Sweater - K for Kookai Jeans - Pull and Bear Coat - Claudie Pierlot Beret - Wego  Bag - Love Moschino We are reaching the end of December but I have two main goals: work out and watch a lot of movies. haha I am trying to go to the gym as much as possible since... I do pay for that... but also because I put on some weight and I would be happy if I can loose it, really..  As for the movies, there are so much movies that seem so cool and that I must watch! I have already seen Moana , I was a bit disappointed to be honest.. It wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be although I did shed two tears for the touching parts...  I went to watch Rogue One: A Star Wars story  with a friend today, it was cool, it literally goes like boom boom boom boom (no, I'm not trying to quote Seventeen's lyrics..) . It was kin...

TOO FACED Grande Hotel Café: Eggnog Latte - Review + Swatches

Image
Grande Hotel Café finally came out two days ago in France at Sephora and.. I've been waiting for this forever! So I went out and bought it today!! :D  But to be honest, I already own a lot of make up and especially brown-ish tones so with a friend we decided to split it and I only took the Eggnog Latte palette. The packaging is so cute and it smells heavenly!  I've never had eggnog but to me it smells like Pumpkin Spice Latte, haha. Here are some swatches: I am a bit disappointed at Frosty Nog and Eggnog Latte , the eye shadows aren't very pigmented and I actually swatched it many times so it could be visible.. :( On the other hand, I am absolutely in love with Iced Coffee , Cold Brew and Central Perk ! Especially Cold Brew, it looks like gold on the palette but as you can see it's brown with gold sparkles, the color is so rich! The blush is all good. :D Very cute peach color, I already own a similar color tho...

Mind if I slither in?..

Image
Yup, I am also a fan on Harry Potter.  Lately I purchased the whole coffret of Harry Potter books,  I think that's a great ocasion to present to you my outfit inspired from my house.  If I was at Hogwarts I believe I would definitly belong to Slytherin.  Well, at least on Pottermore, I am a Slytherin. If some people dislike Slytherin, I like that house. Slytherins are described as cunning, ambitious, born winner that would anything to achieve their goals. In short, they are pretty cool. But well... haters gonna hate. Plus..Merlin was also a Slytherin. (yes, proud Slytherin I am, my laptop is also branded my house's logo) I did an outfit that is rather cosy and casual  (to stay at home) that fits the house's color:  green and grey/silver. Might be great to go out like this in summer but nowadays it's too cold for that, haha. My inner otaku love derived products from my favorites animes, movies and such. F...

MISSHA - Long Wear Cream hair coloring [10N SAND BROWN] - Review (on colored hair)

Image
I had red hair that I previously dyed back into black but the color was wearing off, so you could see red-ish and blonde-ish hair. I decided to make it even by doing a new coloration. I picked Sand Brown color by MISSHA, a brown color that could go ash depending of your hair color. To be honest, this is part of my hair project, I want to lighten my hair color little by little then bleach it. We all know that it's hard to bleach black hair, so maybe this process would make it easier. I saw few people do that, I'll try it and let you know later if it worked! :) Stay tuned! Included in the box a hair coloring brush, the plastic thing to be use as a container to pour the hair coloring cream. Thoughtful and easy.  I like it.  As usual there is of course a pair of gloves and a plastic sheet to cover yourself. I like how Korean and Japanese do that, you know, giving you the full set.  (cuz French don't do that, they just throw a pair of gloves and I k...
